Class: Introduction to Calligraphy: the Pointed Pen

Students will learn how to create basic strokes with the pointed pen - a flexible, fine-pointed metal nib pen - first introduced in the early 18th century to replace feather quill pens. Lower case letters practice followed by some brief experimenting with capital letters. Various papers and inks will be used. No experience necessary.
